I started this Mobile Photo Web Log in March 2004, after suddenly realising that I hadn't taken any photos with my mobile camera phone for a few months... What a waste of technology!
The photos are taken with my Nokia 3650 mobile phone and e-mailed directly from the phone via the GPRS network. The script on this web site automatically picks up the e-mails, and displays the photos on the web, a matter of seconds after they are taken!
The script is written in PHP and uses a database to store the image information.
Why?
It's technology... it's fun :)
