The going is good at the races...

New Sony-manufactured laptop battery from Dell, so that the old one
(I've been using for over a year...) doesn't go up in smoke. And I
thought Sony was a pretty reputable brand...

My cycle route to work now has an added challenge with a newly painted
cycle lane chicane... It's a tough choice: ignore the new markings and
go straight on or risk impaling yourself on the concrete post.

Nice to see the train ticket machines running a nice stable operating
system :)
